Norka – J. P. Hansen, Copenhagen. Norka portrait camera No. 5211 for 9 x 12 cm format; the Danish word “Lyn” means “lightning-fast.” Constructed entirely of stainless steel – in very good condition. Special feature: Two identical lenses allow the right-hand focusing lens equipped with parallax correction, to provide a view via a reflex finder, ensuring perfect image monitoring during exposure. Additionally, the film/plate transport mechanism is coupled with the shutter and operated by the same crank, enabling rapid-fire shooting sequences. (DRP 873931) Stand: Single-sided metal stand with counterweight; height 175.5 cm, accommodating lens center heights from 90 to 138 cm (greater heights possible by shortening the cable). Lenses: Friedrich, Munich. Coronar f/4.5, 21 cm, Nos. 369564 and 369565. Camera mechanics: Lens standard tilts forward and backward; camera platform tilt adjustable via crank; convenient rapid focusing; 5-blade leaf shutter (speeds 1/75 to 2 seconds) adjustable via a dial beneath the lens; exposure chamber with magazine for twelve 9 x 12 cm plates. Besonderheit: Zwei identische Optiken ermöglichen der rechten Einstelloptik mit Parallaxenausgleich das Sehen über einen Reflexsucher während der Aufnahme die perfekte Bildkontrolle! Dazu sind Film- bzw. Plattentransport mit dem Verschluß gekoppelt und werden mit derselben Kurbel bedient, damit sind rascheste Aufnahmeserien möglich.
