Rare Contax II Rifle Stock 543/75, Sonnar 2,8/18 cm Lens, and Fernobjektiv 8/50 cm, 1936 onwards

Zeiss Ikon, Dresden. Comprising rifle stock 543/75, reflex housing 543/78 W.2002 with Carl Zeiss Jena Sonnar 2.8/18 cm lens no. 2275056 (engraved on the front of the reflex attachment “18 cm 21119816”) and reflex housing 543/78 W.2339 with Carl Zeiss Jena Fernobjektiv 8/50 cm lens no. 2348827 (no additional engraving on the front of the reflex attachment), Contax II no. G12492 and connecting cables, both lenses show some interior deposits (removable) under point light. – Literature: Kuc, “Auf den Spuren der Contax”, Vol. I, pp. 201–205. – One of the rarest accessories for the Contax II, according to Kuc a maximum of five examples are known. The use of the Contax rifle was prohibited during World War II.

Zeiss Ikon, Dresden. Gewehransatz 543/75 mit Reflexansatz 543/78 W.2002 mit Carl Zeiss Jena Sonnar 2,8/18 cm Nr. 2275056 (vorne am Reflexansatz graviert “18 cm 21119816”) und Reflexansatz 543/78 W.2339 mit Carl Zeiss Jena Fernobjektiv 8/50 cm Nr. 2348827 (vorne am Reflexansatz keine Zusatzgravur), beide Optiken unter Punktlicht innen mit etwas Altersbelag (entfernbar), Contax II Nr. G12492 und Verbindungskabeln. – Eines der seltensten Zubehöre für die Contax II, laut Kuc, “Auf den Spuren der Contax”, Band I, S. 201–205, sind höchstens 5 Exemplare weltweit in Sammlungen bekannt. Während des Kriegs war die Verwendung des Gewehransatzes gänzlich untersagt.
