France, for 13 x 18 cm, with warm-toned walnut body, extension up to 39 cm, landscape lens of approx. 11/23 cm, focusing screen frame for 13 x 18 cm (ground-glass missing but replaceable), cassette set up for thin sheet metal plates of approximately 108 x 165 mm (possibly daguerreotypes), cassette slot with additional cover strip to prevent light from entering during long expo-sures, focusing slightly difficult due to warped wood, optics of the period but probably not original to the body. – Note: The threaded holder at the front of the lens probably once had a front diaphragm. An attractive exhibition piece.

Frankreich. Für 13 x 18 cm, warmfarbiges Nußbaumholz, Auszug bis 39 cm, Landschaftslinse von ca. 11/23 cm. Vorne an der Optik trug der abschraubbare Halter vermutlich eine Vorderblende. Kassetteneinschub mit zusätzlicher Abdeckleiste zur Vermeidung eines ungewollten Lichteinfalls bei der langen Belichtung, Mattscheibenrahmen für 13 x 18 cm, Mattglas fehlt (ersetzbar), Kassette eingerichtet für dünne Blechplatten von ca. 108 x 165 mm (Daguerreotypien?), Fokussierung minimal schwergängig durch Holzverzug, Optik vermutlich ergänzt, paßt aber zu der Zeit. Ein schönes Ausstellungsstück.
