Pathé Frères, Paris. Large film camera for the 35mm cinema film format in wooden cassettes for 120 m of film. Lens: Voigtländer Heliar 4.5/51 mm in original focus mount. Film switch with double-sided gripper. Driven by handcrank (not included). A camera in a wooden case with split leather cover. Tachometer with meterage display on the case. A separate lens serves as a viewfinder, which creates an upside-down focusing screen image via an angled mirror. Manufacturer’s mark Pathé Frères 779, dimensions: width 17.5 cm, depth 34 cm, height 37 cm. A very rare camera from the early days of professional cinematography in France. It is also the camera model that Alfred Hitchcock posed next to.

Eine sehr seltene Kamera aus der Frühzeit der professionellen Kinematographie in Frankreich. Und es ist auch der Kamera-Typ, neben dem Alfred Hitchcock posierte.
