Pathé Frères, Paris. 35mm film camera in a wooden body with leather covering. Step-by-step mechanism: Double-sided claw mechanism after Lumière Carpentier. Drive via original rear handcrank. Exposure times adjustable via a rotating sector (20–200 degrees). Interchangeable lenses: Krauss-Tessar Paris, 3.5/50 mm or 4.5/150 mm. A detachable external viewfinder displays an inverted focusing screen image. Rear: Manufacturer’s plate “Cinematographes Pathé Frères, Paris, No. 1009”. Cover for a telescopic magnifier for focusing in the film system. Two handcrank connections: Either eight frames per revolution or slow motion (adapter included). Brass disc with pointer as a frame counter. Two 100m film cassettes. The camera retains its original leather carrying strap. – Included: A vintage wooden tripod with a large pan and tilt head (without cranks). Original leather case with accessories. Two framed advertising prints, “The Professional Camera in Action.” The Pathé Profi was the most successful camera of its time. Even famous Hollywood directors like Griffith and C. B. De Mille worked with it.
