Darlot, Paris. No. 35734. Height approx. 16 cm, diameter of front element approx. 65 mm, with rack-and-pinion focusing (working) and iris stop. Equipped with two symmetrical menisci, altering the aperture setting produced the kind of artistic soft focus effect popular during the so-called “Picturalist” period. Commander C. Puyo, one of the leading French picturalists, was likely involved in the design of this unusual lens. The example here uses iris stops, others were equipped with waterhouse stop.

Ideal für die “Pictoralisten”, z.B. den französische Kunstphotograph C. Puyo, der beim Zustandekommen dieser Konstruktion mitgewirkt hat. Sehr schöne und interessante Optik! Höhe: ca. 16 cm. Ø Frontlinse: ca. 65 mm. Triebverstellung funktioniert. Dieses Exemplar ist mit Irisblende ausgestattet, es gibt auch welche mit Steckblende.
