Signature on the table “Zeiss Jena 621 929”; this is the 621st simple microscope produced, alongside 929 compound microscopes; original lacquered and blackened brass, screwed onto the box: height 7 ¼ in., case dimensions 4 ½ x 4 ½ x 2 ¾ in., 3 magnifying lenses (15, 60 and one magnifying lens from Zeiss without magnification specification), coarse and fine adjustment via a drive behind the curved column, swivelling condenser magnifying lens; mechanically and optically in very good condition, with key, box partially lined with velvet. – This microscope type corresponds to the “original model” of Zeiss microscopes. This model established the great success of microscopes in the early years of the workshop in Jena! – A great rarity!

Signatur auf dem Tisch “Zeiss Jena 621 929”, es handelt sich um das 621te Einfach-Mikroskop bei gleichzeitig 929 produzierten zusammengesetzten Mikroskopen; original zaponiertes und geschwärztes Messing, auf den Kasten geschraubt: Höhe 19 cm, Kastenmaße 11,5 x 11,5 x 7 cm, 3 Einsatzlupen (15, 60 und eine von Zeiss stammende Lupe ohne Angabe der Vergrößerung), Grob- und Feineinstellung durch einen Trieb hinter der geschwungenen Säule, ausschwenkbare Kondensor Lupe; mechanisch und optisch sehr gute Erhaltung, mit Schlüssel, teilweise mit Samt ausgelegter Kasten. – Dieser Mikroskop Typ entspricht dem “Urmodell” der Zeiss-Mikroskope. Dieses Modell begründete den großen Erfolg der Mikroskope in den Anfangsjahren der Werkstatt in Jena! – Eine seltene Rarität!
