For 35mm format 24 x 36 mm, Steinheil Cassar 2.9/7.5 cm (actually a medium-format focal length) in the Compur shutter, triggers inaccurately. With coupled split-image rangefinder! Mechanically complex device! Even the bayonet lens hood is fascinating. A very interesting camera for anyone interested in design, a piece that anyone would like to hold in their hands! One could call it “Nautilus” because it is very reminiscent of Captain Nemo’s submarine in the film adaptations of the novel by Jules Verne. Possibly a prototype!

Möglicher Herstellerhinweis am Trageriemen: Aage Nissen Fredericia. Für KB-Format 24 x 36 mm, Steinheil Cassar 2,9/7,5 cm (eigentlich eine Mittelformat-Brennweite) im Compur-Verschluß, löst ungenau aus. Mit gekuppeltem Schnittbild-Entfernungsmesser! Mechanisch aufwendig gebautes Gerät! Selbst die Bajonett-Gegenlichtblende bringt einen ins Staunen. Eine überaus interessante Kamera für jeden Design-Interessierten, die jeder gerne in die Hand nehmen will! Nennen wir sie doch “Nautilus”, da sie sehr an das U-Boot von Kapitän Nemo in den Verfilmungen des Romans von Jules Verne erinnert. Könnte ein Prototyp sein!
