Second version of the automatic multiplying calculating machine designed by François Timoléon Maurel and improved upon by Jean Jayet, patented in 1846 and winner of a gold medal at the National Exposition de Paris in 1849. Filigree brass mechanism, four graduated barrels arranged one behind the other, number entry with eight push rods, each with the numerals 0 to 9 on enamelled plates, eight digits in the semi-circular result counter, cancellation lever underneath, four-digit revolving counters with enamelled scales, driven by wing screws, good and complete original condition, the mechanism sticks intermittently and does not work completely, in mahogany case, 11 x 7 x 8 ¼ in. – Only around thirty examples of this technically very complicated machine were produced by the French clockmaker Winnerl, unfortunately the design was too complex to be a commercial success.

Filigrane Messing Mechanik, vier hintereinander angeordnete Staffelwalzen, Zahleneingabe mit acht Schubstangen, jeweils mit den Ziffern 0 bis 9 auf Emailschildern, acht Stellen im halbkreisförmig angeordnetem Resultatwerk, darunter liegender Löschhebel, vierstelliges Umdrehungszählwerk mit emaillierten Skalen, Antrieb mit Flügelschrauben, guter und kompletter Originalzustand, die Mechanik hakt teilweise und funktioniert nicht vollständig, in Mahagoni Gehäuse, 28 x 18 x 21 cm. – Diese technisch sehr komplizierte Maschine wurde von dem französischen Uhrmacher Winnerl in circa 30 Exemplaren hergestellt, leider zu komplex und wirtschaftlich kein Erfolg.
