Kaleidoscope Collection, c. 1840–1920
1) A classic kaleidoscope on a wooden base, height 35 cm, subsequently attached with modern screws, beauti- ful early filling with large elements. – 2) Brass tubes, height 22 cm, beautiful early filling with small ele- ments/gemstones. Focusing for short-sighted people. – 3) USA. "Teleidoscope", motifs are created by swing- ing the kaleidoscope around in the environment, height 24 cm. – 4) Device with light aperture on one side and colorful tin foil balls and spirals as filling, very beauti- ful effects, length 30 cm. – 5) Prismatic cone-shaped kaleidoscope, height 16 cm, filled with colored broken glass. – And: 6) Triangular kaleidoscope, height 15 cm, filled with colored broken glass.

Hof-Galanterie- und Spielwaaren-Haus "Zur Stadt Paris" in Prague. Labeled in Czech and German, drum Ø 11 in., wood base, with 10 different single-sided strips of 35 1⁄2 x 3 3⁄4 in., height of the Zoetrope: 15 3/4 in. – Very rare!

Frame 54 x 44 cm, a landscape with a chapel in the background, frame with explanation on the back, authentic contact relics inserted at the bottom of the image. – And: 3) France. Frame 56 x 47 cm (damage to the stucco), the daughter as a bride in the background, mother with daughter in the left part of the image, father with daughter in the right part of the im- age, glass cracked. – Rare collectible "optical illu- sions"!
