Octant from the Friesian island of Föhr, by Jan Cornelius von Voer, serial no. 226, frame and index arm with engraved acanthus ornamentation and the figure of a stylized girl with basket of flowers in the centre, transversal scale 0° to 90°, radius 8 in. 
(21,5 cm), sight vane with 1 pinhole and 2 index shades. A very important and rare German nautical instrument.
