Auf der Nordseite signiert "D. BERINGER" (David Beringer, 1756–1821), Eichenwürfel, 5 Seiten mit handkolorierten Kupferstichen und Gnomonen aus Mes- sing, Oberseite mit waagerechter Sonnenuhr, Vordersei- te mit Süduhr und Rückseite mit Norduhr für die Able- sung morgens und abends, West- und Ostseite jeweils mit römischen Zahlen, Girlanden und 2 Figuren, auf Obstholzsockel mit eingelassenem Kompaß, gedrechsel- te Säule mit Gelenk zur Einstellung der Polhöhe, Kan- tenlänge des Würfels 6,7 cm, Gesamthöhe 18 cm. Pa- pier teilweise leicht abgerieben und überall etwas nach- gedunkelt.

Paper-covered oak cube with hand-colored copper engravings and brass gnomons on five of the faces, signed on the north face "D. BERINGER" (David Ber- inger, 1756–1821), the top, northern and southern faces with Roman chapter rings and garlands, the eastern face with Roman numerals and two figures, the western face with Roman chapter and figures, on fruitwood base with inset compass, turned column with compass joint for setting the pole height, length of the cube edges 2 1⁄2 in., total height 7 in. Paper slightly rubbed and some- what darkened.

Graviertes Messing, eingesetzter Kompaß unter Glas, Sonnenuhr mit klappbarem Gnomon (König auf Pferd), Oberseite mit Tierkreiszeichen und anderen Motiven, graduierte Rückseite mit arabischen Zeichen, diente als Navigationshilfe und zur Bestimmung der Richtung nach Mekka (Qibla), Durchmesser 23 cm, zwei kleine Risse im Rand.
Engraved brass, inset compass under glass, sundial with folding king on horse-shaped gnomon, upper side with signs of the zodiac and other motifs, graduated rear side with Arabic inscriptions, used as an aid to navigation and to locate the direction of Mecca (qibla), diameter 9 in., two small cracks in the rim.
