Äußerst seltene amerikanische Zeigerschreibmaschine, Typenscheibe mit gekerbtem Rand, Filzrollen-Ein- färbung, auf Nußbaumholzplatte. Hergestellt in New York von McLoughlin Bros. Inc. und vermarktet als "McLoughlin Bro's Ten Dollar Typewriter", ursprüng- lich als Spielzeug verkauft. Ein Gußteil am Schlitten gebrochen (fehlt). – Eines der ganz großen Samm- lungsstücke.

McLoughlin Bros., New York. American index typewrit- er, type disc with notched edge, rotating character- selecting handle, felt roller inking, on walnut board. This model was marketed as the "McLoughlin Bro's Ten Dollar Typewriter” and originally sold as a toy. Part of cast-iron slide broken (missing). – An important collec- tor´s item.

Folge- konstruktion der berühmten Sholes & Glidden, die als erste erfolgreiche Schreibmaschine der Welt Geschichte schrieb, 1 Typenhebel gebrochen, ohne Holzrolle, mit Blechhaube. (3–4/4) – 2) "Underwood Standard No. 6", um 1920, Nr. 446109-12, 4-reihig, Vorderanschlag, 84 Zeichen, funktioniert. (3/3) – 3) "Smith Premier No. 10-A", um 1915, Serien-Nr. SS50062, Vorderan- schlagmaschine mit Volltastatur, funktioniert, müßte gereinigt werden. – Literatur: Martin, 1949, S. 109.
