articulated head, bone beak, wings, tail and swivelling perch in glazed bower of naturalistic silk foliage, feather ferns and painted holy and ivy leaves, in book-matched burr walnut-veneered case with tulipwood banding, red interior with inlaid garlands around ebonised inner lid, ormolu handles, tune-sheet and silvered plaque engraved
