Based on a Vichy automaton c.
1890, with plaster-composition head and hands, blue glass eyes, articulated "dancing" eyelids
and lower lip, massive going-barrel movement driving eight cams and two-air cylinder
movement, height 35 in. (89 cm), with brass key,
"acorn" stop/start, maker's brass plaque
and paper label.
An iconic contemporary automaton by the late Michel Bertrand.
