Musical Watch Key, c. 1820
Probably Geneva, with single-air barillet movement
wound through stem with attached hoop, ball and gold
curlicues, steel female arbour for watch and engineturned
gold case with cobalt and cerulean infillenameled borders,
length 2 in. (5 cm), working order. A musical objet de vertu!
