(2-/2) – 2) Book 25 x 18 cm of 116 pages with mounted photographs: London 1903 "A six month tour around the world", complete with 22 photographs from 5.5 x 8.5 to 12 x 16.5 cm and 11 panoramic photographs 5.5 x 18 cm. (3/3) – 3) Wilde and Ganzlin, Berlin 1893. "Chicago World’s Fair 1893", complete folder with 32 pictures (print), views of the buildings with details of the costs, last picture no. 32 "Captured rebellious Indians before their execution on August 9, 1890 in the Battle of Wounded Knee." Oblique aerial photograph 35 x 27 cm of Manhattan on April 28, 1927, brown-toned. – And: 7) Albumen print 19 x 24 cm on 27 x 35 cm card- board, "The Knickerbocker Café" with advertisment Ehret’s Extra Beer with old German brewer's sign (see www.beerhistory.com/library/holdings/ehret.shtml). Bei allen diesen Photographien ist ein Hauch der spezi- fischen rheinischen Lebensart des Nicht-Ernstnehmens (seriöse Herren sitzen auf dem Boden neben den Lehr- lingen) oder der Übertriebenheit zu merken, die August Sander noch expliziter ausgestaltet hat. Leider ist kein Bild von ihm dabei. Vorhanden sind 3 gerahmte und 35 ungerahmte Photographien in Formaten von 13 x 18 bis 23 x 28 cm, zum Teil auf Karton aufgezogen. All of these photographs show a hint of the specific Rhineland way of life, which is characterized by not taking things too seriously (respectable men sit on the floor next to the apprentices) or of exaggeration, which August Sander developed even further. Unfortunately, none of these photographs are by him. There are 3 framed and 35 unframed photographs in formats from 13 x 18 to 23 x 28 cm, some mounted on cardboard. Pictures suitable for exhibitions, well-preserved.
