Adams at Tycho Brahe's Head in Fleet Street, London", of rosewood, brass and boxwood, with original lacquer, mica window, scale graduated 0–90 and 90–0 degrees, 17¼-inch
      (44cm) index arm and 4-inch (10cm) telescope, with three additional mica inserts. In pine case with original maker's advertising label, English dealer's letterhead and card dated 12. July 1774.
