»The Pascaline« (or: »Arithmatique«) –
Calculating Machine by Blaise Pascal (1652-1662)
The first ingenious
numerical wheel-calculator with ability to
»carry over«, by the famous French mathematician and philosopher. Only 20
machines were ever built, of which just 9 are known today – all
in national archives! Here is an authentic
and historically accurate old working-model (c. 1920s).
A true milestone in 'Computer History'!
