Leitz, Wetzlar. One of the very few Leica III a cameras assembled by Dr. Wöhler Co., St. Ingbert/Saar, to avoid the high French tax duties. The serial number 359973 is outside of the serial number range given by James Lager, but corresponds perfectly to the authentic no. 359971 sold 2004 at Breker. With Elmar 3,5/5 cm, no. 728208, with lens cap. – Giant Leica rarity!
